Easter Island, Myths and Popular Culture Travelling exhibition and new website on Easter Island

The exhibition Easter Island, Myths and Popular Culture, has just finished 6 months at the Kon-Tiki museum in Oslo. Previously, it was on display for 6 months at the Captain Cook Birthplace Museum, in Marton, Middlesbrough. It is estimated that it has now been seen by more than 90,000 people. This exhibition of 39 panels and nearly 300 objects, weighing nearly half a ton, will next be moved to Easter Island, where it will be the first ever international exhibition to be displayed in the Island's museum. The Popular Culture and Education pages are currently being developed to support schools.
