PAA at CAA 2012
February 22-25, 2012
Los Angeles, CA
The Pacific Arts Association (PAA) is an international organization devoted to the study of all the arts of Oceania. PAA provides a forum for dialogue and awareness about Pacific art and culture. By connecting individuals and institutions around the world, PAA encourages greater cooperation among those who are involved with the creation, study, and exhibition of Pacific art.
PAA is an affiliate society of the College Art Association (CAA), the primary national professional organization in the United States whose members are committed to excellence in the practice, teaching, and research of and about art, art history, and related disciplines.
As an affiliated society, PAA may sponsor one proposal for a 2½ hour regular session at the Annual Conference. The Annual Conference Committee will consider a PAA-sponsored session proposal, along with the other submissions it receives, on the basis of merit.
The deadline for submitting a Session Proposal for 2011 has passed. To submit a Session Proposal for the 2012 CAA Conference, please visit PAA at CAA 2012.
The CAA has recently issued a letter to CAA's Affiliated Societies.
