Panel Discussion at the Fowler Museum, UCLA: Exhibiting Cultures: A Pacific Rim Dialogue February 26th, 6.30pm.

As part of the Fowler at Fifty anniversary year, the Museum presents the second of three panel discussions that address special topics in museum practices. This conversation will examine procedures for developing American Indian, First Nations and Maori perspectives when exhibiting items produced by these cultures. More specifically the panel discusses how indigenous peoples have been involved in shaping the ways that their cultural resources are presented and represented in museum settings.  read more »
