Peter Gathercole, a founding member of the Pacific Arts Association, passed away on the evening of 11 October. He was Curator (ie Director) of Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology in Cambridge from 1970 to 1981, and then was Dean at Darwin College, Cambridge.
